Item | Boro Patchwork Indigo Cotton Futon Cover. Wonderful variety of textiles including tsutsugaki, small & large stripes patches. The original base fabric consisted of 4 simple large stripe cotton panels, hand stitched together to form the entire textile. Then, over years as the fabric became worn, time and time again, boro patched were carefully sewn on top of the damaged areas to become in the tattered circumstances as you see it now.
